All praises are for Allah, Lord of all creation. I bear witness that nothing is worthy of worship except Allah, alone and without partners, and I bear witness that Muhammad is His slave and Messenger. May the peace and blessings of Allah be upon him, his family, his companions, and those who follow them upon righteousness until the day of judgment.

Allah عزّ وجَلَّ states in the Quran:

وَلْتَكُنْ مِنْكُمْ أُمَّةٌ يَدْعُونَ إِلَى الْخَيْرِ وَيَأْمُرُونَ بِالْمَعْرُوفِ وَيَنْهَوْنَ عَنِ الْمُنْكَرِ وَأُولَئِكَ هُمُ الْمُفْلِحُونَ ۝

Let there arise out of you a group of people inviting to all that is good, enjoining Al-Ma’ruf and forbidding Al-Munkar. And it is they who are successful.
[Surat Aali ‘Imraan: 104]

The Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم said:

مَنْ دَعَا إِلَى هُدًى كَانَ لَهُ مِنَ الأَجْرِ مِثْلُ أُجُورِ مَنْ تَبِعَهُ لاَ يَنْقُصُ ذَلِكَ مِنْ أُجُورِهِمْ شَيْئًا

“He who calls to righteousness would be rewarded like the rewards of those who adhered to it, without their rewards being diminished in any respect.”

Sahih Muslim, Hadeeth 2674
